Nothing is more important than investing in our children's future.

TJ knows that investments in our public education system are the best investments our country can make. Educated societies are healthier, wealthier and happier. For the good of our nation, the federal government has the responsibility to ensure equal access and educational excellence for all of our citizens and residents. In today's global economy, our students need more than just a primary education. In fact, since 2010, of the 11.5 million jobs created since our recovery from the Republican-induced recession, only 80,000 jobs were created for those having only a high school degree or less. That's less than 1%. We must fund free community-college, vocational school, secondary school education and job training. TJ is proud to have funded effective community college facilities and programs in CA-21, including West Hills Community College's Farm of the Future.
